Randy Goodnight
Director of Bands/High School Director
Mr. Goodnight attended The University of Central Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Music Education in 2017. During his time at UCO, Mr. Goodnight studied trumpet as his principal instrument, participated in many instrumental ensembles, and earned his minor in Jazz Studies. Mr. Goodnight is currently pursuing a Master of Educational Leadership from The University of Central Oklahoma. Prior to his time at Perkins-Tryon, Mr. Goodnight was the Director of Bands at North Rock Creek Public Schools.
Mr. Goodnight has held professional memberships in the National Association for Music Education, Oklahoma Music Educators Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, and the Oklahoma Jazz Educators. Mr. Goodnight actively performs in the OKC area as a professional trumpet player.
Mr. Goodnight currently lives in Stillwater, OK with his wife, Abbi, their son, Everett, and their one-eyed dog.

Mrs. Goodnight is the Assistant Director of Bands for the Perkins-Tryon School District and is the Head Director for the Middle School Band Program. Mrs. Goodnight graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2017. Prior to her time at UCO, she graduated from Bristow High School in 2013. After graduating from UCO, Mrs. Goodnight was the Assistant Band Director at Oakdale Public Schools, Director of Bands at Okemah Public Schools, Assistant Director of Bands at North Rock Creek Public Schools, and spent this past year as the Music Teacher at the Perkins-Tryon Intermediate Site.
Her professional affiliations include National Association for Music Education, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, and Oklahoma Music Educators Association.
Mrs. Goodnight lives in Stillwater, Ok with her husband Randy, son Everett, and dog Todd. She likes to watch reality television, and is a Marvel superfan.
